ABOUT ME

My name is Sophie Payne and I am based in South London, United Kingdom. My work currently specialises in fashion photography. I have experience photographing buildings, products, bands, events, and people. My visual style is clean yet bold, focusing on working both in studio settings with artificial light and on location using natural light. I aim to create intentional, lasting imagery, often incorporating colour theory and styling choices into my decision-making. I am currently in my third year at Nottingham Trent University completing my Photography degree, where I have gained experience in headshots, commercial-style imagery, product, and fashion photography. I enjoy telling stories through my photography and capturing genuine emotion.
